16. Ms. Aponte De Zacklin (Venezuela) said that her delegation fully supported the statements made at a previous meeting on behalf of the Group of 77 and China and on behalf of the Rio Group.

The Western Group will meet in room 1, the Group of 21 here in this room and the Eastern European Group in room C.108.

UNFPA, as chair of the United Nations Development Group (UNDG) programme group, has been actively involved as a member of the Global Task Team.
