United Nations agencies and other partners have continued to work with Governments and civil society to generate support for laws and systems that protect children.

WHO expects other partners, particularly United Nations agencies, to support the initiative.

Supporting and improving strategies to develop collaborative partnerships

Re emphasizing the importance of the United Nations Forum on Forests as the high level intergovernmental body on forests within the United Nations and the continued supporting role of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, and the need for the Forum to provide the Partnership with clear guidance,

To do that, we need a partner. A partner who is committed, as we are, to the peaceful resolution of our differences, and to the democratic and universal principles on which peace is founded.

Efforts will include the strengthening of mechanisms to provide state of the art technical information and support to staff, and strengthened technical partnerships with collaborating agencies.
