Four sessions of the Preparatory Committee, as well as three regional meetings and hundreds of other pre Conference meetings had preceded the Conference.

23. A pre sessional working group meets, for five days, prior to each of the Committee apos s sessions.

If the State party and or the complainant is unable to submit the information requested within set deadlines, they are urged to apply for an extension of the deadline.
