We also note that the CTC is preparing for the first of such visits and finalizing the framework within which such visits will be conducted.

While we welcome the visits programme, we realize that there will be a limit to the number of States that the CTC and the Counter Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) will be able to manage to visit.

The CTC experts have been generous in adding their comment, both with regard to States that they or the Team have visited or plan to visit, and with regard to other States.

Her visit enabled her to explore the response of the Government and the community to the phenomenon.

The CTC has finished its first round of country visits, which began in March this year.

In that respect, Tanzania also supports the conduct of visits by the CTC to Member States.

First, with regard to the Counter Terrorism Committee (CTC), we have noted the first country visits.

In that context, the beginning of the CTC's programmed visits to States is extremely welcome to us.

We welcome the fact that the first visit by the CTC to Member States is now scheduled for March 2005.
