Projects are designed and implemented as partnerships with the concerned government, and are supported by donors who may also at times take an operational partnership role in the projects.

IFAD has also cooperated mainly with southern partners in implementing projects.

In that context, contacts have been initiated and a partnership project is currently being developed.
