Standing intergovernmental organs and expert bodies

The NI Unit has discussed with the Government of Turkey the establishment of a NHRI.

Such information should be obtained from Governments, national human rights institutions, the United Nations country team, relevant United Nations agencies and NGOs.

The executing agencies in the programme were national business organizations and other NGOs, semi governmental associations and the Government itself.

Existing and potential partners include local and national governments, United Nations agencies, bilateral donor agencies, specialist WASH organizations, NGOs, funding foundations, research institutes and the private sector.

Governments, governmental and non governmental organizations, financial institutions and other private bodies should therefore be reminded to donate to the Fund.
