RAED's connections on the African and Euro Mediterranean Levels

It is to establish a regional representative of the Beijing center in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and northern Mediterranean respectively.

The concept is currently being developed for Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, for countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea and for the Aral Sea basin.

The areas most affected by pirates and armed robbers continued to be the same areas, i.e., the South China Sea, Strait of Malacca, Indian Ocean, East and West Africa and South America.

Member States of WHO are grouped into six regions relating to Africa, the Americas, the Eastern Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, the Western Pacific and Europe.

The other group has a network of people that operates in an area that includes eastern and south eastern Asia, Southern Africa, the eastern coast of Africa and the Horn of Africa.

MED HYCOS for the Mediterranean rim and SADC HYCOS for southern Africa are the first two components, which are being established with the support of the World Bank and the European Union, respectively.

5. It was during the Malta Euro Mediterranean Conference that the Government of Malta proposed the establishment of a Euro Mediterranean parliamentary partnership.

The methodology developed within the framework of the Geostat Morocco project could be applied in other counties of the Mediterranean basin and other regions of Africa, America, Asia and Australia.

Western Sahara resembled an occupied Kuwait, situated near Europe and the Mediterranean sea, in Africa and at the heart of the Maghreb.

3. Special action urgent action for Africa and actions taken in the Asian, Latin American and the Caribbean, and Northern Mediterranean regions

Generally, Zambia lies on the great Central African plateau with an average altitude ranging between 1,000 and 1,300 meters.

Workshops have taken place in a wide range of countries including Brazil, China, Colombia, Pakistan, Thailand, Ghana, Vietnam, and in sub regions or regions such as Mt. Elgon in Kenya Uganda, the Mediterranean, Central and Northern Europe, West, East, Central and North Africa, South East Asia, Meso and South America.

EPPO European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization

Regional workshops were held in Algeria (for francophone Mediterranean countries), Bahrain (for Middle East countries), Botswana (for Eastern and Southern African countries), France (for Mediterranean countries), Slovenia (for East European countries) and India (for the Asian region).

In the case of Haiti, that has worked very well between the United Nations and the Organization of American States.

In 2004, more mountain areas were reached by the Mountain Forum thanks to the creation of the European Mountain Forum, which welcomes participation from individuals and organizations from seven main geographical areas in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East sharing the Mediterranean basin.

An accident on Africa sea

An early coastal migration along the south coast of Asia, leaving Africa around 60,000 years ago, reaching Australia very rapidly, by 50,000 years ago.

Taking note further of the conclusions of the studies launched by the European Commission (INFRAMED, MED TEN T and DESTIN) for the development of an integrated transport network in the Mediterranean basin,

The other critical region in the continent has been Central Africa.

These issues came to the forefront in the Mediterranean context, where the Office has expressed its concern about the fate of migrants arriving from Africa and the Middle East in southern Europe.

In north Africa, Morocco continues to be one of the world s largest producers of cannabis, which is transshipped to Europe via the Mediterranean coast of north Africa.

Welcoming the efforts deployed by the Euro Mediterranean countries to strengthen their cooperation in combating terrorism, in particular by the adoption of the Euro Mediterranean Code of Conduct on Countering Terrorism by the Euro Mediterranean Summit, held in Barcelona, Spain, on 27 and 28 November 2005,

Such activities have been undertaken in areas of central and southern Africa, Central Asia and Central America.

There is also cause for measured optimism with respect to Africa and the Mediterranean basin, including the prospect of useful dialogue in the Middle East region on issues related to the Convention.

African States and coastal area management.

In Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, Sub Saharan Africa and Europe, the trend in the abuse of cannabis is on the increase (see figure I).

These issues came to the fore during the reporting period in the Mediterranean context as European States sought to respond to arrivals of migrants from Africa and the Middle East.

Mediterranean and European security remain intimately and reciprocally linked.

That Library received the Anna Lindh Euro Mediterranean Foundation award, whose goals include projecting the common heritage of the Mediterranean region by strengthening links and dialogue between the north and the south of the Mediterranean Sea.

ITA provided support to the actions of the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) and the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and support to the actions for promoting the underground alternative of the Strait of Gibraltar crossing.

The United Nations Support Mission in Haiti and the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic owed 9.4 million and 3.2 million respectively to UNMIH.
