Action by the Meeting

The measures adopted by the Government were set out in its reports to the Counter Terrorism Committee.

He also took urgent action in eight other cases, sometimes together with the other Special Rapporteurs.

The Committee hoped that the Government would adopt measures to promote such evaluation and asked it to keep the Committee informed of the progress achieved.

By combining those calls to action by national governments with their own commitments to act, local governments have again demonstrated their resolve in the pursuit of sustainable development.
