We will continue to offer our support and advice.

We have to bring the truth forth.

We are offering various suggestions, so I think we would still leave it there.

We will report further on this issue.

We are confident that those recommendations will emerge within a reasonable timeframe.

We can fold a million times faster, we can fold in hundreds and hundreds of variations.

We all have received the report of the Secretary General, which he will introduce this morning.

We will continue to talk to all countries that have yet to report.

We would then present the wording that was negotiated on 20 July in the same format as we are presenting the two other proposals, that is, indented.

We will have many ideas to contribute during the discussions, but right now I should like to mention three points.

So, in anticipation of our discussion on this and I would like to have members' input on this we have prepared a list, which the secretariat is going to distribute.

We would like to seize the opportunity to place our recommendations in the high level segment for the above mentioned issues.

However, I just wanted to raise that issue so that it will not be assumed that we will be a member of the Bureau in 2006.

We were also able, I believe, thanks to the excellent guidance provided by our President, to clearly convey the message we wished to send to Haiti, and we made recommendations that I believe will be useful for the work of the Security Council.

At the same time, we have listened carefully to several proposals that have been made and we would like to express our support for the one made by the representative of Indonesia.

We will follow with keen interest the implementation of the measures spelled out in the Summit Outcome.

To conclude, I mean, what we do, does it have a broader relevance, or is it just India or developing countries?

And then you extract them out of the ground, and sell them on the open marketplace.

We hope that the meeting in Kobe, Japan, will produce strong recommendations in that direction.

We would support it, and we would support it in spite of the constraints that I have mentioned.

We wish also to state that it is our expectation that the membership will ensure that the request for further spending of the outstanding balance will be honoured when the Secretary General makes his request in mid year 2006.

Then I arrange them so I can get them quick.

We would caution against raising the bar for assistance too high, and we hope that all States in need of help will be able to approach the Commission.

I am calling it the Armenian proposal because it was suggested by the representative of Armenia, although Iran and Cuba gave us some ideas for improving it, which we accepted.

Greece will contribute its share, commensurate with its possibilities, and we will consider positively the steps proposed by Mr. Egeland.

We decided to join in sponsoring the draft resolution, because we agree with the proposal put forward by the group of four.

To save time and in line with what I said earlier  that what we always aim at is plain and simple language I would like to make an attempt at a very simple proposal which, I think, would take on board the various concerns.

The forthcoming meeting, to be held in Zagreb, will provide an opportunity for us to reaffirm our commitment to preserving the humanitarian objectives of the Convention.

I would like to take this opportunity to make some general observations we will put forward specific suggestions during the forthcoming consultations and negotiations.

I shall try to answer three questions that you have raised.

I repeat, we will be taking an active part and we call for specific proposals to be tabled so that we can move ahead on each and every one of the issues on our agenda.
