They were the ones that didn't get paid.

The first thing experience teaches us is to get paid.

The magicians came to the Pharaoh and said Is there reward for us if we succeed?

And the magicians came to Firaun, and said, Will we get some reward if we are victorious?

And the sorcerers came to Pharaoh, saying, 'We shall surely have a wage, if we should be the victors?'

And the magicians came unto Fir'awn. They said surely there is for us a reward if we are the overcomers.

And so the sorcerers came to Fir'aun (Pharaoh). They said Indeed there will be a (good) reward for us if we are the victors.

The magicians came to Pharaoh, and said, Surely there is a reward for us, if we are the victors.

And the magicians came to Pharaoh and said 'Shall we have a reward if we win?'

And the wizards came to Pharaoh, saying Surely there will be a reward for us if we are victors.

And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, We shall indeed have a reward if we were to be the victors?

The sorcerers came to Pharaoh. They said 'Shall we be rewarded if we are the winners'

And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant.

The magicians came to the Pharaoh and said, We must have our reward if we are to gain a victory over him (Moses) .

And the enchanters came to Firon (and) said We must surely have a reward if we are the prevailing ones.

And the magicians came to Pharaoh and asked, Shall we have a reward, if we should prevail?

So there came the sorcerers to Pharaoh They said, of course we shall have a (suitable) reward if we win!

When the magicians arrived, they said to the Pharaoh Is there a reward for us if we are victorious?

So when the magicians came, they said to Firaun, Will we get some reward if we are victorious?

Then, when the sorcerers came, they said to Pharaoh, 'Shall we indeed have a wage, if we should be the victors?'

Then when the magicians came, they said unto Fir'awn will there surely be a big hire for us if we are the winners?

So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) Will there surely be a reward for us if we are the winners?

When the magicians came forth (for the encounter) they said to Pharaoh Is there a reward for us if we triumph?

And when the wizards came they said unto Pharaoh Will there surely be a reward for us if we are the winners?

So when the magicians came, they said to Pharaoh, Shall we have a reward if we were to be the victors?

Then, when the sorcerers came to Pharaoh, they said 'Shall we receive a wage if we win'

And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant?

When the magicians came, they asked the Pharaoh, Will there be any reward for us if we win?

And when the magicians came, they said to Firon Shall we get a reward if we are the vanquishers?

When the magicians came, they asked Pharaoh, Shall we have a reward, if we are the winners?

So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Pharaoh Of course shall we have a (suitable) reward if we win?

(c) To receive fair remuneration for their work and training

If I'm gonna get shot at, I might as well get paid for it.

No one can die before his appointed term except in accordance with the law of God. And to him who desires a reward in this world, We shall give it and to him who desires a reward in the life to come, We shall do that. We shall certainly reward those who are grateful.

And no soul can die except by Allah s command a time has been appointed for each whoever desires the rewards of this world, We bestow upon him from it and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We bestow upon him from it and We shall soon reward the thankful.

It is not given to any soul to die, save by the leave of God, at an appointed time. Whoso desires the reward of this world, We will give him of this and whoso desires the reward of the other world, We will give him of that and We will recompense the thankful.

It is not Possible for any person to die except by Allah's command at a term recorded. And whosoever desireth the reward of the world, We vouchsafe unto him thereof. and whosoever desireth the reward of the Hereafter, We vouchsafe unto him thereof. And anon will we recompense the grateful.

And no person can ever die except by Allah's Leave and at an appointed term. And whoever desires a reward in (this) world, We shall give him of it and whoever desires a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give him thereof. And We shall reward the grateful

No soul can die except by God s leave, at a predetermined time. Whoever desires the reward of the world, We will give him some of it and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him some of it and We will reward the appreciative.
