The amount of the pension will be equal to that of an early retirement pension on rounds of age or length of service.

2. The amount of the retirement pension shall be determined as follows

An officer retiring after completion of 30 years of service is entitled to draw a pension calculated at 90 per cent of his last drawn salary and to a commuted pension, is eligible for a monthly pension of 80 per cent of his last drawn salary and to a commuted pension of 24 times his monthly pension.

Regarding retirement age the combined 3rd and 4th report has touched upon the matter of retirement age for men and women, and has suggested that the pension policy be revised.
