All citizens have the right to work, that is to say the right to employment for remuneration in accordance with the quantity and quality of work.

Right to equal remuneration The right to an equal remuneration at the Constitutional level is granted by Article 107 of the Satversme, stipulating that every person shall have a right to receive appropriate remuneration for work performed.

No one can die without the permission of God. This is a written decree of the appointed term for life. We shall give worldly gains to whoever wants them. Those who want rewards in the life hereafter will also receive them. We reward those who give thanks.

And a soul will not die but with the permission of Allah the term is fixed and whoever desires the reward of this world, I shall give him of it, and whoever desires the reward of the hereafter I shall give him of it, and I will reward the grateful.

Nor can a soul die except by Allah's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him and if any do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude.

On the subject of overtime the Act states that if the worker exceeds his normal working hours he is to receive pay in accordance with the extra hours worked double time for the first 9 hours and treble time for hours in excess of 9.

Improving women's access to remunerative employment through

(a) Labour rights (the right to work, the right to rest, the right to paid holidays, the right to remuneration, the right to good occupational safety and health conditions, the right of professional association).

Yet any other fireman or worker who spent periods of time on call was entitled to be remunerated for those periods, independently of whether or not he had actually worked.
