The government, through the MLRR, has set up an order of priority of beneficiaries in its resettlement programme.

Since mid December 2004, the World Food Programme (WFP) has distributed some 871 tons of food commodities to 288,993 beneficiaries.

In collaboration with UNDP, the Ministries of Justice, Foreign Affairs and Gender and Development, Liberian civil society and the international donor community, UNMIL is spearheading the formulation of a five year national human rights action plan for Liberia.

It can plan for the long term benefits of the country and in the process, evict millions of people that's just a small technical issue.

It would be useful to determine whether the interests of those countries would be better served if the Office were to be integrated in UNDP and governed by UNDP rules.

The team met with a variety of stakeholders and partners within and outside UNDP.

The Summit adopted the Rome Declaration on World Food Security and the World Food Summit Plan of Action, in which a separate Objective was dedicated to the right to food.
