Selection and appointment of senior officials

In the field, a senior United Nations official is appointed in each country to serve as designated official for security.

In addition to the three members appointed by the King in 1996, three members were appointed by the National Assembly and three by the Supreme Council of the Magistracy.

Judges of all lower courts were appointed by the Supreme Council of Judicature, which consisted of all the judges of the Supreme Court.
