This survey has identified large numbers of very hot stars such as white dwarfs and active corona stars.

Some of these companies include Nacional de Chocolates (food), Organización Corona (ceramics) and Federación Nacional de Cafeteros (coffee) (UNCTAD forthcoming).

The measurements made by SPARTAN 201 will be used in conjunction with those from the Ulysses spacecraft, which was launched in October 1990 and which detected the solar wind from the south polar corona as SPARTAN observed the source region of that wind as well as other portions of the Sun apos s corona.

Scientists are eager to learn more about the Sun apos s polar magnetic fields, which reverse polarity every 11 years in conjunction with the solar cycle they play an important role in the Sun apos s corona and solar wind.

SPARTAN 201 2, a small satellite deployed and then retrieved several days later by the Space Shuttle Discovery in September 1994, examined the Sun apos s hot outer atmosphere, or extended corona, and the solar wind, the flow of charged ions from the Sun.

Together, the two instruments can determine the velocity of the solar wind as it accelerates out of the Sun so that scientists can grasp exactly how and when the Sun creates this wind as well as what the shape and spectroscopy of the solar corona may be.
