Entry is strictly for staff only.

Succession planning within the General Service and related categories has been virtually impossible, with no new entry level staff being recruited.

In the first instance, emphasis is being given to means of increasing the mobility of entry level staff in the professional category.

The Secretary General is of the view that it would be useful for all staff at the entry level of the Professional category of staff to serve a probationary period.
