The Brazilian Government has adopted several measures in compliance with this Article and Recommendation No. 7, which deal with the adoption of measures for the eradication of poverty.

To this end it underlines the importance of adopting effective measures that include new financial mechanisms to support the efforts of developing countries to achieve sustained economic growth, sustainable development, poverty eradication and strengthening of their democratic systems.
