(b) Each deposit of an instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession

3. Ratification, acceptance, approval or accession shall be effected by the deposit of an instrument to that effect with.

For each State that ratifies, accepts or approves the Convention or accedes thereto after the deposit of the instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Convention shall enter into force on the day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

2. For each State ratifying, accepting, approving or acceding to the Convention after the date of deposit of the _ instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval, the Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

The Convention enters into force one year from the date of deposit of the fifth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

2. For each State ratifying, accepting, approving or acceding to the present Convention after the deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

For each State ratifying, accepting, approving or acceding to this Protocol after the deposit of the twenty second instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Protocol shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

For each State ratifying, accepting, approving or acceding to this Protocol after the deposit of the twenty second instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Protocol shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

For each State ratifying, accepting, approving or acceding to this Protocol after the deposit of the twenty second instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Protocol shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

Such a provision would hinder acceptance of the MOTAPM instrument, and the CCW as a whole, in non international armed conflicts.

For each State that ratifies, accepts or approves the Convention or accedes thereto after the deposit of the fiftieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Convention enters into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit with the Depositary of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

It believes that some of the measures proposed would hinder acceptance of the MOTAPM instrument among armed groups in non international armed conflicts.

It would enter into force as from the date of receipt by the Director General of FAO of the twenty fifth instrument of acceptance.

1. This Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the date of deposit of the _ instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval.

The Convention will enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

For each State or regional economic integration organization that ratifies, accepts or approves the Convention or accedes thereto after the deposit of the thirty fifth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Convention shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the deposit by such State or regional economic integration organization of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

Each Annex XX Party shall, in its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, notify the percentage of intended emission reduction level in accordance with paragraph 123.

Article 17 of the Convention stipulates that a State becomes party to the treaty six months after the deposit of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

In accordance with article 68, the Convention shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

In its view, however, this section needs to be drafted in such as way so as not to hinder the acceptance of the MOTAPM instrument among armed groups.

For each State or regional economic integration organization which ratifies, accepts or approves the Protocol or accedes thereto after the deposit of the instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession fulfillment of the requirements of paragraph 243 the Protocol shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit by such State or regional economic integration organization of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

On the basis of article 68, the Convention will enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

2. Any instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession deposited after the entry into force of an amendment to this Convention is deemed to apply to the Convention as amended.

49. This instrument shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after ratification, acceptance or accession of all Annex I Parties and on the ninetieth day after implementation of all

Thereafter, the amendment shall enter into force for any other State party on the day on which that State deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval of the amendment.

On the basis of its article 68, the Convention will enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

The present Convention shall enter into force on the day following the date of deposit of the instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession with the Secretary General of the United Nations.

2. The amendment shall enter into force for each State party that deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval of the amendment on the thirtieth day after the date on which two thirds of the States parties have deposited their instruments of ratification, acceptance or approval with the depositary.

This Convention enters into force on the first day of the month following the expiration of six months after the date of deposit of the third instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

This Protocol shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit of the fiftieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, provided that the total carbon dioxide emissions for 1990 of the Parties which have deposited their instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, as indicated in their most recent national communication submitted under Article 12 of the Convention, by that time represent no less than three Gigatonnes of carbon.

No State or regional economic integration organization may deposit an instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession to this Amendment unless it has previously, or simultaneously, deposited such an instrument to the Amendment adopted at the Eleventh Meeting of the Parties in Beijing, 3 December 1999.

1. This Convention enters into force on the first day of the month following the expiration of six months after the date of deposit of the third instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

The amendment shall enter into force for any other Party on the ninetieth day after the date on which that Party deposits with the Depositary its instrument of acceptance of the said amendment.

17. The representative of Japan said that the role of FDI in international economic transactions had increased dramatically, and there was now widespread acceptance of FDI as a key instrument in promoting economic growth.
