The cost of maintaining MIPONUH from 1 July 1998 through the end of the mandate on 30 November 1998 is estimated at 11,883,500 gross ( 11,383,100 net) and the cost of the liquidation of the mission from 1 December 1998 to 30 June 1999 is estimated at 6,641,300 gross ( 6,396,100 net).

Bearing in mind its observations made above, the Advisory Committee concurs with setting off the additional expenditures of 334,300 gross ( 265,300 net), for the period from 13 January to 30 June 1996, against the unencumbered balance of 1,152,600 gross ( 882,000 net) for the period from 1 July 1996 through 30 June 1997.
