Information Exchange Network on Capacity Building for the Sound Management of Chemicals (INFOCAP) INFOCAP is an internet based network designed to facilitate the exchange and public accessibility of information related to chemicals management capacity building.

The security management accountability framework had been discussed in detail at the annual meeting of the Inter Agency Security Management Network.

General description The Major Programme provides direction and management for six programmes Human Resource Management, Financial Services, Information Network and Knowledge Management Services, Procurement and Logistics Services, Legal Services and Buildings Management.

In July 2005, the Deputy Secretary General chaired the first organizational meeting of the Management Performance Board, which conducted a review of existing sources of managerial performance data.

We will continue to support a performance review of regional fisheries management organizations based on objective criteria.

The improvements in monitoring and evaluation combined with the performance indicators contained in the biennial programme plan and the programme budget will provide the basis for objective reporting of performance both to Member States through the programme performance report and to the new Management Performance Board.

Oversight entails a wide spectrum of activities including, inter alia, internal audit, evaluation, inspection, monitoring and performance management.

UNFPA also recommended including additional dimensions to the proposed benchmarks referring to the management of performance and contracts.

The Inter Agency Security Management Network, a subcommittee of the High Level Committee on Management of CEB, plays a central role in imparting coherence, direction and a sense of ownership throughout the United Nations security management system.

Through the Inter agency Security Management Network, it had continued to work closely with United Nations agencies, programmes and funds.
