369. The Education Ministry is undertaking a study, with World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) funding, to assess the shortcomings in science education at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels.

UNFPA is also assisting the Directorate and the Ministry of Health s Primary Health care Departments in integrating reproductive health services, including family planning, into primary health care clinics in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

In 1997, the World Bank, WHO, UNICEF and UNFPA supported the rehabilitation of selected health centres for the initiation of the primary health care programme.
