The report claimed that the disadvantages women faced resulted purely from societal beliefs and attitudes.

The issue of changing societal attitudes towards women will be an integral component of this project.

Over and above the specific objectives of the law in reducing the direct exploitation of children, the law in a larger attitudinal sense asserts the value of children as a defence against the erosion of societal attitudes toward them.

We can change national attitudes to women and national attitudes to HIV.
