In 2004, the State Statistical Committee did work to introduce gender indices into statistical reports on agriculture.

C. Concerns and recommendations The Committee notes that the statistical data provided by the State party are incomplete.

The Committee appreciates the relevant statistical information on the composition of the population provided by the State party.

The Committee regrets the lack of comprehensive and up to date statistical data in the State party's report.

The Committee regrets the absence of statistical data on the extent of homelessness in the State party's report.

The growing interest in the current round has led the Global Office to organize sessions about the Programme at statistical conferences.

Walter Radermacher, Vice President of the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, was elected Chair of the Committee during its preliminary meeting.

32. The data of the Central Statistical Office show that women account for 49.6 per cent of total unemployment in agriculture.
