Supervision of regulations for protection and security at work is made by labour protection inspection authorities.

One general assessment made by labour and labour protection inspection authorities is that measures to secure health protection and work security are not sufficient.

The State Labour Inspection supervises the compliance with these requirements pursuant to the Law On State Labour Inspection and Regulations of the CM On State Labour Inspection.

The Department of Supervision of Labor Laws of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor supervises the enforcement of a number of labor laws, including the Employment of Women Law.

304. In Poland cases of violation of women apos s labour protection provisions, confirmed by the State Labour Inspectorate, are not very frequent.

Clause 2 of the said Regulation provides that the State Labour Inspection exercises public control and supervision over compliance with laws and other legal acts enacted in the area of labour, labour protection, employment and the technical supervision of dangerous equipment.

According to the labour force surveys of Statistic Denmark the figure was 5.4 per cent in 1990.

It should be noted that information gained as a result of the survey conducted by the State Labour Inspection shows that at present approximately 55 of employers have no clear understanding of normative acts on labour protection.

The State Labour Inspection also exercises supervision in the area of remuneration for work, including the minimum wages.

(i) Forced and bonded labour

There is also poor coordination between the Ministry of Social Welfare and Labour, the NAC and local level administrative authorities for monitoring the NPA and local plans of action.

After issuing many warnings without effect, a public security organ finally had to invoke the Decision on Re education through Labour and, with the explicit approval of the Bejing Municipal Labour Rehabilitation Board, decided to commit Liu to three years of education through labour.

79. The objective of ILO activities in public administration and development is to strengthen the capacity of labour administrations to design and implement effective policies for the protection of workers and the efficient functioning of labour markets.

The complainants alleged that the Government of Myanmar had demonstrated its unwillingness to act upon the repeated calls addressed to it by the supervisory bodies of the ILO to abolish forced labour in law and in practice and that, instead, the practice of forced labour was becoming more widespread and that the authorities in Myanmar were directly responsible for its increasing use.

Persistently weak labor productivity growth has created a situation in which unit labor costs do not fall, even if real wages remain stagnant or decline. Indeed, despite a 1.3 drop in real wages in 2011, unit labor costs remained unchanged.
