14. Aggregate net resource flows to Africa have fluctuated relatively widely and show no underlying trend.

Well, one may have been gross sales, one may have been net sales, but I want to know that all the numbers make sense together.

The net balance of the sales publications revolving fund as at 31 December 2004 is 132,267.

Sales promotional activities and other costs charged to the sales publications revolving fund of 26,576 resulted in a net surplus for the year 2004 of 11,152.

The aggregate net long term resource flows to developing countries and their main components is summarized in Table 1, in annex I of this document.

16. Aggregate net transfers to Africa have fluctuated widely, ranging from a low of 4.6 billion in 1993 to a high of 14.5 billion in 1995.

For example, Africa s share in the total net aggregate resource flows to developing countries declined from 15.4 per cent in 1992 to 7.4 per cent in 1996.

At the same time, aggregate net resource flows to Africa over the past five years have not increased to fill the growing gap between investment needs and domestic savings.

The share of OF in aggregate net resource flows declined from a high of about 98 per cent in 1993 to 74 per cent in 1996 (table 2).8

Without allocating operating expenses between the two revenue generating activities, the projected 2006 net PSD income (regular resources) of 334.4 million comprises net operating income from private sector fund raising of 302.7 million and from card and gift sales of 53.1 million, offset by the cost of investment funds of 21.4 million to support fund raising and sales initiatives.

Of the 53 sales partners concerned, the performance of 50 was below the 50 per cent net profit target and the remaining 3 were inactive.

B. Aggregate economic performance

This statement presents the allocation of costs of both marketing and support services between fund raising and sales to measure the net contribution of each activity.

The net operating income is expected to be 59.6 million from cards and product sales and 365.0 million from fund raising, excluding the 260.0 million income from PSFR for other resources. Compared with 2006, the net operating income in 2009 is expected to increase by 12 percent for cards and product sales and 21 percent for PSFR (see table 6).

The net revenue from the sales of statistics and population related products by the Department is expected to decrease by 30,200 in 2006 2007 (estimated at 367,000).

The volume of sales produces a net income that is part of the agency s accumulated surpluses and contributes significantly to the development of its Technical Cooperation Fund.

The investment income of the Fund during the period amounted to 1,655,924,487, comprising 1,227,887,984 in interest and dividends and 428,036,503 in net profit on sales of investments.

So when you look online at the way people aggregate, they don't aggregate around age, gender and income.

IS3.5 Net revenue from the projected sale of publications is expected to decrease by 884,800, from 1,838,000 to 952,200, continuing the decline of sales of United Nations publications worldwide, which is due to a number of factors, including the increase in online sales of products.

Similarly, the share of sub Saharan Africa in net aggregate resource flows also declined, from 11.7 per cent in 1992 to a low of 6.1 per cent in 1996, and only marginally increased to 6.8 per cent in 1997.
