A few months later, the Guam Environmental Protection Agency issued a beach advisory for Gun Beach and Tanguisson Beach because of a sewage overflow that occurred along the Harmon cliff line.

Because the blue line is a better line. The red line is way downhill, the blue line is a good line.

Also over the past two weeks, there have been a substantial number of daily ground violations by Lebanese shepherds and civilians along the length of the Blue Line.

The incidents along the Blue Line of 29 June and 12 July illustrate once again the need for the Government of Lebanon to make every effort to prevent attacks from its side of the Blue Line.

The persistence of violent incidents and violations along the length of the Blue Line underlines the importance of UNIFIL's presence on the ground.

In his meetings with the Government of Lebanon, he discussed, among other matters, the need to improve the situation along the Blue Line.

Lebanon wishes to maintain security and calm along the Blue Line and is working to spread stability and growth to the liberated regions.

Another initiative along this line was the improvement, by the Ministry of Education, of the selection criteria for textbooks to be distributed nationally.

My delegation is gravely concerned at the persistence of tensions, hostile rhetoric and skirmishes some with deadly consequences which characterize the situation along the Blue Line.

So here we have a line and a point outside the line.

My country attaches great importance to the efforts being made by UNIFIL to preserve the ceasefire along the Blue Line, resolve incidents and prevent acts of violence.

This function adds a line to the command line history.

If I may turn to south Lebanon, we are pleased to note the overall calm that seems to have prevailed along the Blue Line for some time now.

While Israel claimed that the wall was being constructed for security reasons, Israel's legitimate security concerns could have been met by constructing the wall along the Green Line.

With respect to the situation along the Blue Line, my delegation reiterates its call on both sides for restraint and full compliance with the relevant Security Council resolutions.
