A Staff Council representative has been included in the Learning Advisory Board.

FAFICS represents former United Nations officials and staff members on the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board, in the International Civil Service Commission and the UN System Chief Executives Board for Coordination.

In paragraph 177, the Board recommended that staff training on Atlas be enhanced.

As at 31 December 1997, a total of 331 staff were on board, consisting of 42 international and 289 local staff.

As at 31 January 1998, a total of 498 staff were on board, consisting of 129 international and 369 local staff.

As at 21 November 2005, the Mission had on board 508 international staff, 912 national staff and 65 United Nations Volunteers (UNVs).

Article 4 (a) provides that quot the Fund shall be administered by the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board, a staff pension committee for each member organization, and a secretariat to the Board and to each such committee quot .
