UNICEF has issued guidance on the proper review of emergency requisitions aimed at improving the quality of supply and distribution planning in emergencies.

The memorandum of understanding was adopted before the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning software it was not amended and did not deal with the amounts advanced from UNHCR to UNDP for payments in the field.

The Committee notes that on 1 January 2004, wave I of the Enterprise Resource Planning system (Atlas) was launched additional functionalities are targeted for completion in 2007, as indicated in paragraph 55 of the budget document.
