83. Planning and monitoring of programme outputs should be improved by identifying more formally the timing and resource requirements for the various outputs.

It encouraged UNHCR to continue to support needs based programme planning, while taking into account in the budget the realities of likely resource levels.

87. The Board welcomes the establishment of the Programme Management Information System to monitor activities and looks forward to further progress in resource planning.
