The Covenant's Entry in force

This special provision will enter into force pending the entry into force of the CTBT.

Efforts for the early entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty

The early entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) was crucial.

The entry into force of the CTBT would give impetus to the nuclear disarmament process.

Hungary advocated the early entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT).

Emphasizing the importance of the expeditious entry into force of the Convention and the Protocols thereto,

Presentation of a progress report on cooperation to facilitate the entry into force of the Treaty.

At the same meeting, under agenda item 9, Tom Grönberg (Finland) presented a progress report on cooperation to facilitate the entry into force of the Treaty in accordance with measure (c) of the Final Declaration and Measures to Promote the Entry into Force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty of the 2003 Conference on Facilitating the Entry into Force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.

Pending the entry into force of the Treaty, the moratorium on all nuclear tests should continue.

These activities have gained support since the entry into force of the Protocol in February 2005.

The Council may review the scope objectives of this Agreement years after its entry into force.
