(i) One half of the gross income from the sales of publications is reported under revenue producing activities.

Gross revenue from the sale of UNIDO publications was 75,455, one half of which ( 37,727) was transferred to the sales publications revolving fund.

The estimated amount of revenue for the United Nations reflects the anticipated level of gross sales to be generated by the gift shop.

124. It was stated that at Headquarters, in accordance with current practice, sales revenue was primarily used to finance sales related costs.

23. Pitcairn s principal sources of income are stamp sales and revenue from interest and dividends.

In card and gift sales, for 2006, sales volume is projected at 118 million cards and gross proceeds are projected at 161.0 million.

Sales of United Nations publications continue to increase and are the leading revenue producing activity of the Organization.

And some of these industries may seem sort of marginal to you, but these are the gross sales for low I.P. industries, industries with very little copyright protection, and there's the gross sales of films and books.

Well, one may have been gross sales, one may have been net sales, but I want to know that all the numbers make sense together.

Total business receipts (subject to gross revenue tax) rose by 7.8 per cent in 1996 to 5,612.9 million.

i) Income Generating Activities this fund is maintained by revenue from external sales and expenditure reflects purchase of goods for resale.

In 1996, the number of sheep was 638,116 and the gross volume of raw wool sales totalled 3,504,252.

The gift shop at Headquarters is operated by a contractor who is required to provide the United Nations with a percentage of gross sales.
