At the 34th meeting, on 21 July, an introductory statement was made by the Assistant Secretary General and Special Adviser on Gender Issues and the Advancement of Women (under agenda items 7 (e), 13 (l) and 14 (a)).

Accordingly, the published accounts show a total income for the biennium for the Technical Cooperation Trust Fund for Provision of Junior Professional Officers of 203,000 against total expenditure of US 40,000 (see statement VIII).
