11. Decides that the outcome of the high level segment should be one ministerial declaration

The Third Ministerial Conference will comprise a senior officials segment to finalize the documents for consideration by ministers and a ministerial segment to consider policy issues, endorse the strategy, action plan and ministerial declaration and consider other relevant matters.

Request ATM to submit the Declaration and Plan of Action to ECOSOC in the form of a Declaration of Principles in order for them to be considered for inclusion in the ECOSOC Ministerial Declaration

Taking note also of the Ministerial Declaration of the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization, held at Doha from 9 to 14 November 2001,A C.2 56 7, annex.

(a) The expeditious and appropriate resolution of outstanding implementation issues, consistent with paragraph 12 of the Doha Ministerial Declaration

Taking note also of the Ministerial Declaration of the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization, held at Doha from 9 to 14 November 2001,See A C.2 56 7, annex.

The third Ministerial Review Conference of the Nairobi Declaration was held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 20 to 21 June 2005.

It should also contribute to furthering the implementation of internationally agreed goals contained in the Doha Ministerial Declaration adopted at the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and other relevant decisions.

3. Also stresses the need for negotiations of the World Trade Organization in non agricultural market access to live up to the development mandate of the Doha Ministerial Declaration, the decision of the General Council of the World Trade Organization of 1 August 2004 and the Hong Kong Ministerial Declaration

The Doha Ministerial Declaration (DMD) called for the reduction or, as appropriate, elimination of tariff and non tariff barriers to EGS.

Ministerial declaration of a health emergency and the obligations stemming from such a declaration were also specified, as were provisions for the addition of new diseases for compulsory declaration and a provision to facilitate the announcement of health threats.

3. Also stresses the need for negotiations of the World Trade Organization in non agricultural market access to live up to the development imperatives and commitments of the Doha Ministerial Declaration, the decision of the General Council of the World Trade Organization of 1 August 2004 and the Hong Kong Ministerial Declaration

Noting the relevant provisions of the Ministerial Declaration of the Ministerial Conference of the Third World Water Forum, held in Kyoto, Japan, on 22 and 23 March 2003, on water related disasters,See A 57 785, annex.

(a) Welcome and support the Rome Declaration on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing adopted at the FAO Ministerial Meeting on Fisheries, held on 12 March 2005, as well as the Ministerial Declaration adopted at the 2005 Conference on the Governance of High Seas Fisheries and the United Nations Fish Agreement Moving from Words to Action

Foreign ministers of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) also met in Doha last June and adopted the NAM Ministerial Declaration, in which they

It also endorsed the Cotonou Declaration adopted by the Ministerial Conference of the Least Developed Countries, held in Cotonou, Benin in August 2002.

The Seoul Ministerial Declaration reflected the commitment of the international community to creating institutions dedicated to putting intellectual property at the service of development.

Endorses the Cotonou Declaration adopted by the Ministerial Conference of the Least Developed countries held in Cotonou, Benin from 5 to 7 August, 2002.

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization's March 2005 Rome Ministerial Declaration on illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing provides a global commitment to action.

Recalling its 2003 ministerial declaration, which underlined the importance of alliances and partnerships among actors in different sectors for the promotion of integrated rural development,

Stresses that in order for the Doha Round to be concluded satisfactorily, the negotiations should result in the establishment of rules and disciplines in the area of agriculture, adhering to the development imperatives and commitments of the Doha Ministerial Declaration, the decision of the General Council of the World Trade Organization of 1 August 2004 and the Hong Kong Ministerial Declaration

8. Expresses concern over the suspension of the Doha Round of trade negotiations, and calls for their early resumption and successful development oriented outcome adhering fully to the agreed mandate in the Doha Ministerial Declaration, the Framework adopted by the General Council of the World Trade Organization in its decision of 1 August 2004 and the Hong Kong Ministerial Declaration

2. Stresses that in order for the Doha Round to be concluded satisfactorily, the negotiations should result in the establishment of rules and disciplines in the area of agriculture, adhering to the development mandate of the Doha Ministerial Declaration, the decision of the General Council of the World Trade Organization of 1 August 2004 and the Hong Kong Ministerial Declaration

Subsequently, the General Assembly endorsed the Almaty Programme of Action and the Almaty Ministerial Declaration at its 58th session in its resolution A 58 Res 201.

The Declaration of the Fourth Ministerial Conference of WTO (Doha, November 2001) reaffirmed its support for the valuable work of ITC and called for its enhancement.

At its second session, the Forum, in resolution 2 1, adopted a Ministerial Declaration and a Message from the Forum to the World Summit on Sustainable Development.

Finally, subparagraph 31(iii) of the Doha Ministerial Declaration deals with the reduction or, as appropriate, elimination of tariff and non tariff barriers to environmental goods and services.

Pursuant to paragraph 49 of the Doha Ministerial Declaration, once the WTO trade negotiations were resumed, they should be conducted with a view to achieving a balanced outcome.

Implement the provisions of the Doha ministerial declaration that are relevant to the differential and preferential treatment of small island developing States, particularly those regarding access to external markets.

Ministerial statutes

Welcoming also the Rome Ministerial Declaration on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing adopted by the Ministerial Meeting on Fisheries of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations on 12 March 2005, which renewed the resolve of the international community to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing,

In this regard, we welcome the decision taken by the World Trade Organization, August 2004, on the full implementation of the Doha Ministerial Declaration, particularly where it deals with development issues.

To ensure that the benefits of new technologies, especially information and communication technologies, in conformity with recommendations contained in the ECOSOC 2000 Ministerial Declaration,E 2000 L.9. are available to all.

While the Doha Ministerial Declaration provides indicative timelines for the submission of initial requests and offers, many developing countries were not able to submit their requests and or offers within these timelines.

Welcoming further the 2005 Rome Declaration on Fisheries and the Tsunami adopted by the Ministerial Meeting on 12 March 2005, which addressed the issue of rehabilitation in relation to the tsunami disaster,

Second, subparagraph 31 (ii) of the Doha Ministerial Declaration covers procedures for regular information exchange between multilateral environmental agreement secretariats and the relevant WTO committees and the criteria for granting of observer status.

Global Ministerial Environment Forum

1. Reaffirms the commitments of the Ministerial Declaration of the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade OrganizationA C.2 56 7, annex. to place the needs and interests of developing countries at the heart of the work programme adopted in the Declaration and to continue to make positive efforts designed to ensure that developing countries, especially the least developed among them, secure a share in the growth of world trade commensurate with the needs of their economic development
