UNICEF is participating in the ongoing inter agency review of the medical insurance plan.

We also believe that the Council should look beyond this first comprehensive review and plan accordingly for a continuation of the review mechanism.

There is a plan that this review will be made with gender related issues in mind.

We also feel it important that the first review of the plan take place in October 2006.

A review of the Evaluation Unit's work plan to date also shows that its actual focus was more limited than stated by the policy.

In the 2004 programme plan and management review, UN Habitat reported on an innovative initiative aimed at promoting the Millennium Development Goal on slums.

The review covered the overall implementation of the capital master plan and nine contracts executed in 2004 for an aggregate amount of 12.4 million for the design development phase.

(a) To conclude the review of the Yokohama Strategy and its Plan of Action, with a view to updating the guiding framework on disaster reduction for the twenty first century

In the context of the review, the Office will ensure that the recommendations for the adoption of a three year strategic plan that addresses the risk management strategy are considered.

The Office of Internal Oversight Services has intensified its monitoring of the audit workplan, with meetings being convened weekly to review the progress of assignments in accordance with the plan.

The Review action plan recommended that action be taken to review and update the current investment legislation, to reform land access, to strengthen the local investment promotion agency, to promote good governance and to devise proactive policies dedicated to the promotion of national and regional investment opportunities.

An independent expert panel would review the national plans to verify their scientific and managerial coherence. Assuming that a plan passes muster, the money to support it would quickly be disbursed.

Jordan welcomes the outcome of the First Review Conference of the Convention, held in Nairobi, and its adopted Action Plan, which will, we hope, bring about further progress in this field.

Universal adherence to the Convention is a primary objective, which is also the subject of a separate Action Plan developed on the recommendation of the First Review Conference of the CWC.

That plan provides a wealth of information on activities being carried out for women in conflict and post conflict situations. It should facilitate the review of the impact of resolution 1325 (2000).
