Redeployment of staff made necessary by the restructuring was completed in 1997.

The Secretary General has no intention of involuntarily separating staff as a result of the redeployment of resources.

Until the security situation became more stable, the Mission halted all new recruitment and redeployment of staff.

In personnel management, the audit disclosed that the staff shortages faced by the Identification Commission could be overcome by suitable retraining and redeployment of staff of the Mission.
