Since 2013 however, the online retail sales growth rate has decelerated from more than 50 to less than 40 for the first time in 2015 in 2016, the growth rate was 26.2 .

The situation changed this year, however. Online retail sales accelerated again. For the first nine months of this year, growth rate rebounded to 34.2 ,

Final sales to households, businesses, and foreign buyers rose at only a 1.1 annual rate, even slower than earlier in the year. And the preliminary estimate for annual GDP growth in the first quarter of 2012 was a disappointing 2.2 , with only a 1.6 rise in final sales.

You know, everything says, here's the growth rate of China, here's the growth rate of the U.S., here it goes straight line.

But a slowdown in China s economic growth cannot really be blamed for slower sales of luxury goods or empty malls. The annual growth rate of China s 7.5 trillion economy decelerated to 7.6 in the second quarter, from 8.1 in January March hardly a cause for panic.

We needed to reduce the population growth rate.

Total sales volume set a new record while growth returned to the acceleration track

The manufacturing growth rate had risen to 9.2 per cent in the previous six months.

Based on these trends and assuming a constant labor participation rate China s potential growth rate over the next decade is likely to hover around 6.9 7.6 , averaging 7.27 . This may be much lower than the 9.4 average growth rate in 1988 2013, but it is more than adequate by global standards.
