Demand led funding' provided via parents will replace supply led funding' by the municipal authorities.

Governments in developing countries should seek partners that can contribute not only to the technical development of the DMS, but also to the development of new products and services (e.g. niche tourism distributors), marketing actions, information technology and funding.

There were 24 cases of pooled funding reported, 12 cases of pass through funding and 106 of parallel funding (in some cases, more than one modality was used).
