Most FDI from that region originated from East, South and South East Asia.

Countries of South East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa are currently on track to meet the poverty goal.

The most recent additions to the List include Al Qaida associated terrorists and terrorist groups operating in Central, South and South east Asia and the Middle East, including Iraq.

By contrast, East and South Asia enjoyed robust growth, in some countries faster than the 1970s.

Other regions as well can be struck by catastrophes and tragedies similar to the one that struck South and South East Asia.
