Since the right to equitable remuneration for work performed by prisoners could only be derived from article 26, the subject matter of the author's complaint fell outside the Committee's competence.

In order to eliminate the existing differences and to improve the situation in the area of remuneration, the Ministry of Finance has started work on the implementation of the remuneration reform that includes the development of two new remuneration systems.

They could not be given unequal remuneration in fact, they worked shorter hours for the same remuneration if they had three or more children to care for.
