The dialogue table thereby provides a model for Governments to address social and employment impacts of measures to mitigate or adapt to climate change through employment transition measures to care for workers and communities displaced by these changes.

Productive and decent employment is the most powerful lever to ensure the stability of social security during demographic change and to enhance social security coverage.
