The Online Child Sexual Exploitation Team was created on 1 January 2005 to provide the Australian Federal Police with the capability to combat online child sexual exploitation, conduct major international and national investigations of offences relating to material depicting the sexual abuse of children and the online grooming and procuring of children and to identify and eradicate child exploitation and paedophile networks.

It is believed that many Afghan children remain at risk of exploitation, and that child kidnapping and trafficking cases are greatly underreported.

The situation of the girl child gave serious cause for concern. Girls continued to face discrimination, HIV AIDS, violence, exploitation and neglect.

The Committee welcomes the decision of the State party's President, to make the fight against child sexual exploitation a priority of his Government.

Law 3064 2002 regulates combating human trafficking, crimes against sexual freedom, child pornography and, generally, financial exploitation of sexual life. In particular this law

Orders are directed at those who place a child under 18 years of age at risk of sexual exploitation, and can contain conditions prohibiting contact with the child and keeping the person from entering stroll areas.

2.7 On 19 October, the author was charged with child abuse, under article III, section 5, paragraph b, of Republic Act 7610, otherwise known as Special Protection of Children against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act .

In its resolutions 1992 74 and 1993 79, the Commission on Human Rights adopted the Programme of Action for the Prevention of the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography and the Programme of Action for the Elimination of the Exploitation of Child Labour, respectively.

More particularly, in the centres of illegal gold prospecting, there is evidence that indigenous children and adolescents are subjected to labour exploitation and the worst forms of child labour, including servitude and slavery, child prostitution, trafficking and sale.

WWSF is also giving workshops on how to build national NGO coalitions to mark the World Day and lobbies governments to do more for the implementation of Child Rights and for prevention of child abuse which includes physical, sexual and emotional abuse, child neglect and exploitation which constitutes a form of violence.

8. Children born as a result of sexual exploitation and abuse should receive, in accordance with their individual needs, assistance and support addressing the medical, legal, psychological and social consequences directly arising from sexual exploitation and abuse, in the best interests of the child. The United Nations should also work with Member States to facilitate, within their competence, the pursuit of claims related to paternity and child support.

UNICEF continues its work to provide access to information about child protection and to establish prevention and protection systems to ensure protection from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation against children.

They were victims of many forms of violence, including child marriages, domestic violence, trafficking of children and sexual exploitation often associated with the spread of HIV AIDS among young children.

Concerned at the number of illegal adoptions, of children growing up without parents and of child victims of different forms of violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect within and outside the family,

An estimated 300 million children worldwide are subjected to violence, exploitation and abuse, including the worst forms of child labour violence and abuse in communities, schools and institutions, or during armed conflict and harmful practices such as female genital mutilation cutting (FGM C)and child marriage.
