The Liason Officer also provided documents and materials to the Judges for furthering their understanding of Tribunal procedure and jurisprudence.

Finally, in October, the Registry's Liason Officer for Bosnia and Herzegovina spoke at a training programme organised by the Criminal Defence Section of the State Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which gathered 30 defence lawyers.

In September, the Liason Officer gave a lecture on the Tribunal and distributed Tribunal documents to a group of 20 lawyers from Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina at a regional lawyers' seminar in Sarajevo.

Also in June, the Tribunal's Registry Liason Officer in Bosnia and Herzegovina gave a two hour briefing on the Tribunal to ten of the twelve Judges of the War Crimes Chamber of the State Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
