It is well within our grasp to make the Millennium Development Goals a reality.

No other goals could be more just or appropriate. Our challenge is to make them real.

Those two facts require us to make a quantum leap in our commitment, in our goals and in our action in tackling this terrible epidemic.

Our organization has three goals.

We pursue our individual goals.

We need to make an even greater effort and demonstrate the political will to attain our goals as soon as possible.

We need to set our goals and monitor our performance.

Slovakia came to the summit with the understanding that our first priority was to make progress in achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Focus of our approach in achieving the Millennium Development Goals

If that situation is not adequately addressed, our countries may regress from those levels of income, which would make it very difficult to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

We will continue to do our share to achieve the goals that are our common responsibility.

Achievement of the Goals that we set is within our grasp.

Obviously, we need huge sums of money to achieve our goals.

The Millennium Development Goals must remain the focus of our efforts.

These are our goals and we must act to achieve them.

Those goals remain fundamental to our own ability to improve the human condition and transform our societies.

Our endeavour to make a difference there in terms of conflict resolution, peacekeeping and peacebuilding and fighting poverty, underdevelopment and deadly diseases will be the litmus test of the effectiveness of our commitment to meet the Millennium Goals.

We make our own luck.

We'll make our greatest picture.

We'll make this our beginning.

This time we are meeting again, not to make new targets but to assess the progress we have made so far and to intensify our efforts to reach the Goals.

The Millennium Development Goals are a set of goals to ensure development, peace and security, and human rights for our peoples.

Regarding the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), I would like to make three points.

The first challenge is to make progress on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

We're on our own. We can make our own law!

We can make our plans when our friend comes tomorrow.

We will work to secure an agreement that achieves our humanitarian goals while protecting our national security interests.

We are on target with our Millennium Development Goals on poverty reduction.
