Prenatal, neonatal and post neonatal child mortality

The neonatal mortality rate was as high as 75.5 in 1945 and 49.2 in 1950.

The neonatal or perinatal mortality rate is 30 per cent higher for boys than for girls.

Mortinatality (stillborn) in 2001 amounted to 4,7 which, together with the earlier neonatal mortality (5,5 ), gives the rate of prenatal mortality of 10,2 .
