In order to focus its work in 2005 and 2006, the Human Resources Management Service has devised a priority plan around five pillars of human resource support talent management recruitment, selection and deployment performance management (including performance recognition and reward) learning and knowledge management and staff services.

The improvements in monitoring and evaluation combined with the performance indicators contained in the biennial programme plan and the programme budget will provide the basis for objective reporting of performance both to Member States through the programme performance report and to the new Management Performance Board.
