There should be no duplication, since every section or bureau has its own mandate and work area.

In this section, the Special Rapporteur wishes to highlight some recent activities and developments in this area.

A description of the area of focus for this discussion panel is contained in annex III, section A.

Section II Applicant's election with respect to a reserved area contribution, joint venture participation or production sharing contract

UNRWA states that the Area Personnel Section is in the process of developing applications to automate the processing of the Area Staff entitlements currently made manually outside the human resources management system.

The Act includes provisions to increase equal access in employment (section 8), access to government goods, services (section 5) and facilities (section 4) as well as to modes of communication including the Internet (section 6) and publications (section 7).

Each such application shall contain sufficient data and information, as prescribed in section III of annex 2 to these Regulations, with respect to the area under application to enable the Council, on the recommendation of the Legal and Technical Commission, to designate a reserved area based on the estimated commercial value of each part.

The Council, on the basis of the data and information submitted by the applicant pursuant to section III of annex 2 to these Regulations, if found satisfactory, and taking into account the recommendation of the Legal and Technical Commission, shall designate the part of the area under application which is to be a reserved area.

However, this area has more limited opening hours than the interviewing section, which means that in some cases an interview may have to be carried out at a time when there are no facilities for children.
