The provisions of multilateral environmental agreements include obligations for conservation and environmental protection, prevention and control of pollution, and sound management of natural resources.

Improved and sustained hygiene (particularly hand washing), water safety and environmental sanitation practices.

And these practices have significant economic and environmental implications that we're already starting to see today.

(b) To ensure that transboundary waters are used with the aim of ecologically sound and rational water management, conservation of water resources and environmental protection
