As stated earlier, the President appoints Supreme Court judges.

The number of female Justices on the Supreme Court has risen to 40 (six out of fifteen Supreme Court Judges).

Judges of all lower courts were appointed by the Supreme Council of Judicature, which consisted of all the judges of the Supreme Court.

There are currently seven (7) serving Supreme Court judges out of an establishment of nine (9) judges.
