The President Draft resolution V is entitled Working Capital Fund for the biennium 2006 2007 .

The General Fund and Working Capital Fund now show only UNIDO's contribution to BMS costs. The BMS operations are further split into two components

On the other hand, it excludes expenditures of the Medical Insurance Plan and of the Working Capital Fund.

In view of the above, the BMS is reported under other funds rather than under General Fund and Working Capital Fund from the previous biennium.

The Working Capital Fund shall be constituted by advances from States Parties, International Organizations and the International Seabed Authority.

Egypt endorsed temporary recourse to the Working Capital Fund, and invited Member States to take measures to provide the necessary funds.

6.4 Income derived from investments of the Working Capital Fund in accordance with regulation 9.1 shall be credited to miscellaneous income.

Indeed, aggregate cash available in the General Fund, the Working Capital Fund and the Special Account are expected to be over 100 million higher than at the end of 2004.

Effective 1 January 2002, the amount ( 6,610,000) was converted to euros in accordance with GC.9 Dec.15, resulting in a Working Capital Fund of 7,423,030.

On 10 and 11 May, the Committee considered the proposals by the Director General on the Working Capital Fund for the biennium 2006 2007 (PBC.21 3).

In accordance with financial regulation 5.4(a), the Committee should recommend to the Board the amount and purposes of the Working Capital Fund for the biennium 2006 2007.

Financial rule 9.3 specifies the conditions for the recording of investment income it provides, inter alia, that income from investments shall be credited to the Annual Programme Fund, unless required to maintain the Working Capital and Guarantee Fund.
