The Team has had several meetings with officials of Member States dealing with counter terrorism, particularly from their legal and financial ministries, and with institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations Capital Development Fund and Interpol.

The Fund still regards free capital mobility as an ideal toward which all countries will eventually converge. This requires only that countries achieve the threshold conditions of adequate financial and institutional development.

In view of the above, the BMS is reported under other funds rather than under General Fund and Working Capital Fund from the previous biennium.

The initial capital, as of the establishment of the Fund, was set at 51 million dollars.
