These two bodies largely meet the requirements listed above.

31.7 The estimated requirements reported in table 31.2 above address the current end of service benefit liabilities for retired staff.

In the wake of the tsunami, as mentioned above, OIOS organized discussions on the likely investigative requirements in connection with tsunami relief.

32. The discussion above suggests that if microcredit is to play a strong role in development, certain requirements need to be fulfilled.

As was indicated in paragraph 15 above, non staffing requirements for the maintenance of ProFi estimated at 465,200 are provided for under infrastructure.

The Mission s requirements for medical supplies were largely met through medical services provided under the letter of assist arrangements (see para. 60 above).

The above mentioned activities are meant to serve the requirements of applied research and researchers, focusing on securing the priority needs of Lebanon.

The above requirements relating to the additional meetings of the Committee and the pre session working group meetings are enumerated in the table below.

Furthermore, relevant training requirements that would compensate to a certain degree for the lack of experience are also not reflected in the above mentioned documents.

The increase under non posts resources ( 302,000) reflects increased requirements under expert group meetings and contractual services in relation to the additional activities detailed above.

To the extent that firm financial requirements may emerge under any of the above headings, they shall be reported to COP for consideration and decision.

Under the current procedures, the financing of the above additional requirements will be dealt with separately by the General Assembly before the end of 1998.

For example, under FAR 1.301 (b), internal agency guidance is not subject to the same public disclosure requirements as agency acquisition regulations (see above, endnote 37).

The Advisory Committee has commented extensively on ICT related issues in its review of requirements of the Office of Central Support Services in part VIII above.

16. Taking into account the adjustments mentioned in paragraphs 11 and 14 above, the Advisory Committee believes that additional requirements for 1995 should not exceed 367,400.

As regards external relations, other core budget requirements described in paragraph 63 above amount to USD 72,000 (USD 60,000 for travel and USD 12,000 for consultancies).

It was also evident that standard United Nations transport requirements complied with the European Agreement mentioned in paragraph 18 above, to which Yugoslavia was a signatory.

The fluctuation of the euro and the United States dollar also contributed to additional requirements for the 2004 05 budget period under all of the above categories.

As indicated in paragraph 6 above, the timely and full implementation of General Assembly resolution 59 17 B would have likely resulted in reduced requirements for personnel.

14. Subject to its observation in paragraph 12 above, the Advisory Committee recommends approval of the revised requirements of the Secretary General, namely, 2,484,130,300 under the expenditure sections (see annex I A to the performance report) and 359,287,800 under the income sections, resulting in net revised requirements of 2,124,842,500, which is 43,648,400 less than the initial requirements.

As stated above, the Secretariat should instead concentrate on providing justification for the totality of resources requested and not just additional requests for posts and non post requirements.

6.5 In the light of the above, the Committee considers that the author has failed to meet the requirements of article 14, paragraph 7 (a), of the Convention.
